About the Speaker: Hear from Dr. Reginald Zahiruddin
Dr. Reginald has worked for over 25 years in three Christian Hospitals in North West Frontier Province (NWFP), Pakistan. He was Medical Superintendent at Pennell Memorial Christian Hospital, Bannu, NWFP. Among his patients were many war wounded Taliban, In December 2007, Dr. Reginald was kidnapped and locked in a rat-infested room with no toilet where his captors tried to convert him to Islam and sought a $500000 ransom!
In that time, he prayed for his captors and for his release and, on 2 January 2008, after 25 days in a dark room in freezing conditions, he was miraculously and inexplicably set free.
Dr. Reginald is married to Rebecca Julia (Dentist) and has 3 sons. He now lives in Australia and eagerly waiting for his family to reunite him in near future.
