John 1:29 … “Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the World!”

1Corinthians 5:7b-8 “… For Christ our Passover also has been sacrificed.  Let us therefore celebrate the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.”

The Word of God makes it clear that our Saviour is the Lamb of God, who offered Himself as a Sacrifice for our sin. At the death of our Saviour, the Veil (Curtain) in the Temple, which separated the Holy place from the Holy of Holies, was torn from top to bottom. That means the wall of separation between God and humanity was torn down. Now everyone who believes in the atonement for sins through the Death and Resurrection of our Saviour Jesus Christ can have a personal relationship (as Father and children), with God.

Paul reminds us that we should leave our wicked and unholy life-style behind and walk in the new life, the Life of Christ.

Galatians 2:20 “I have been crucified with christ; and it is no longer I who live, but christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and delivered Himself up for me.”

Jesus must be the Lord of all. If in some areas of our life, we deny His Lordship then He is not really the Lord. Someone has said: “Either Jesus is the Lord of all or He is not Lord at all.”

We need to keep reminding ourselves that there is no other Saviour; no body was ever qualified to pay the price for the redemption of human being.

Have a blessed time as you celebrate and meditate on the Death and Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Share His love and Good News with people around you.

God Bless,

Daniel Scot
