Jesus has impacted history uniquely. He is claimed to be the promised Messiah by both Christians (John 1:41; 4:25-30; Acts 3:20; Ephesians 2:12, 13) and Muslims (Sura 3:45; 4:171-172). Jesus – The Messiah was unique among all the prophets of God and was considered the only anointed by God – no other prophet had this Divine anointing.
The Qur’an says that Jesus was born of a virgin and He was made a sign for all peoples (Sura 21:91; 3:45, 47; 4:171). Sura 3:46 says that Jesus was righteous and sinless. In the Bible Jesus challenged His enemies to prove that He had committed even one sin (John 8:46).
