As you can imagine, a book with more than 1300 references will contain some errors, we hope that they are very few. We apologise for any errors and confusion.
Sura 8:67 is incorrectly quoted as saying “Allah said, ‘A prophet must slaughter before collecting captives. A slaughtered enemy is driven from the land. Muhammad, you craved the desires of this world, its goods and the ransom captives would bring. But Allah desires killing them to manifest the religion.’” This is incorrect. Ibn Ishaq in his work Life of Muhammad made this statement on page 326-327.
Sura 8:67 actually reads, “It is not for any prophet to have captives until he hath made slaughter in the land. Ye desire the lure of this world and Allah desireth (for you) the Hereafter, and Allah is Mighty, Wise.“
Reference 36 Romans 8:9-11 mistakenly quotes the Qur’an. The text should read:
9You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God dwells in
you. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him. 10But if Christ is in you, although the body is dead because of sin, the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.
